We're pleased to announce that Designer Maker User, the permanent collection exhibition at London's new Design Museum, with lighting by StudioZNA is shortlisted in the Places: High Budget category. The studio proposed LED Light Sheet for lit shelving and showcases, where the light panel was used to achieve a slim profile and create a soft diffused light to display texture.

Bespoke LED Light Sheet panels were specified by lighting designer Nulty+ in their shortlisted scheme for Harrods Wellness. The project is also shortlisted in the Places: High Budget category at the 2017 darc awards / architectural, which recognise excellence in architectural lighting design and light art projects.

Clerkenwell Design Week installation, entitled 'Order', by Aldworth James & Bond has been shortlisted in the Art: Low Budget category. The structure was lit with SloanLED PosterBOX 3 modules which are now supplied in the UK by Applelec.

Launched late last year, Applelec's new product FlexLogic has been shortlisted in the Kit: Exterior category. An encapsulated LED flex system suitable for internal and external applications, the FlexLogic range includes addressable, RGB and monochromatic colours along with a selection of colour temperatures and tuneable white in 2700K-6500K. With an IP68 protection class and IK08 impact rating, each LED is fully protected with Flexlogic's UV and flame resistant PVC construction. Invisible LEDs deliver superb clarity and brightness with options in flat and radial bending directions.

Lighting designers and light artists are eligible to vote in the awards until 11th August 2017. The awards event takes place on Thursday 14th September 2017 with award invitations and trophies manufactured by Applelec.
