Without compromising the slim profile of the lighting unit, LED Light Sheet can now be curved to create an interior design feature or for illuminated graphic display.
To create a curved LED Light Sheet panel, the clear PMMA acrylic is first etched with the unit’s distinctive matrix and then curved using a specially constructed drum prior to the full assembly of the unit. Light, of course, does not travel around corners, so the success of this procedure requires a narrow width and a gentle curve.
A curved panel of LED Light Sheet is also perfect for the construction of a curved light box. Suitable for the display of graphics and advertising messages, this uniquely slim, curved light box creates an illuminated display which delivers impact and originality. Following the curving of the LED Light Sheet, a bespoke frame is manufactured in a choice of materials including polished or brushed stainless steel or painted aluminium.
