Collaborating once again with Applelec, Neil Musson & Jono Retallick developed a light installation to sit amongst trees in Battersea Park.
‘Call and Response’ is an interactive light and sound artwork which references different levels of communication. Viewers experience the movement of sound and light across the gap between two groups of lit shapes. This movement is inspired by Chiasma, a genetic term, thought to be the point of chromosomal crossover where genetic material is exchanged between chromosomes.
This is one of a series of works by musson+retallick which explore notions of communication and the non-verbal movement of information essential to life and growth.
