Held on the 24th June to the 8th July 2017, London's Bartlett School of Architecture opened its doors to the general public for its annual Summer Show event. Celebrating the work of its students, the event exhibited over 650 pieces of inventive and creative work including models, drawings, films, multimedia installations and digital fabrications.
For the Summer Show event and as part of the Bartlett School of Architecture's educational programme, Applelec sponsored the film design course entitled Unit 26, which explores the potential of moving images to develop new forms of architectural practice.
Along with sponsoring the course, Applelec supplied sixteen 420mm x 297mm, 4100K LED Light Sheet panels and accompanying opal acrylic samples for the students of Unit 26 to display their conceptual work.
Grace Quah of Unit 26 said: 'Applelec's LED Light Sheet looked terrific for the event. The light panels created an illuminated feature wall effect, which really showcased the students' displayed design work.'
Sandi Moolman, Applelec's business development manager said: 'We were extremely pleased to have been approached to sponsor Unit 26 for the Summer Show event. The inclusion of LED Light Sheet complemented the students' work and helped to highlight the intricate detailing within their designs.'
